Hand-Made Cards completed

Today I wrapped up over 200 gift cards.

These were created exclusively for the Lavender Farm. Alii Kula Lavender Maui

I enjoyed making each one. There's something about hand-made that feels so country and relaxed in this busy technological world.

Don't get me wrong, I love my devices
but I long to slow down daily and this takes me to that soothing place.

@Kupumaui PopUp Brunch @AKLMaui

What an amazing celebration of local food and Farm-to-Table presentation...

Dania's dream came true today... KupuMaui created a gorgeous meal served at Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm.

This scrumptious dessert Strawberry Pie and lime truffle topping off the morning...
It was delightful being served fresh local pineapple, strawberries, papaya, mulberries... A variety of fresh baked mini muffins, then Chai smoked pork, quinoa w cranberries, pumpkin, a chiffonade of chard, followed by roasted purple sweet potatoes, beets, ulu (breadfruit) and finally fresh greens In a delicious dressing. Everything was perfect.
Music was provided by @JoelKatzMaui on Gibson guitar.

Flowers at Twin Falls today

After sunrise at Haleakala, breakfast at Kula Lodge, a private country farm, picking avocados, cherimoya and papayas ...

It was time to seek out waterfalls...

I saw Awapuhi ginger flowers opened up my first time...

The East Maui Irrigation tunnels along the way to Twin Falls we're interesting to see... But after a mile walk the falls were just a trickle... 808 283-9131

My Healthy little Lettuce Patch

Everything is coming along fine...

I've got Romaine, Bibb, Anuenue, Manoa, bronze leaf, iceberg lettuces...

They're so thick and lush. Need to thin these and transplant soon. I'm just enjoying them grow.

Short and Sweet Sightseeing on Maui

We had a wonderful time with our guests from China.
Music is the universal language. (And a smile)
When I began to sing and play my ukulele, Mrs. Li was so happy that after I finished, she wanted to sing songs in Chinese!
It was a very memorable day on a personalized tour. (((SMILES)))
